If you need a series of users to upload and download files from your computer, one of the best options is to install an FTP server on it, making ti necessary to have the proper tool to fulfill this purpose.

  FileZilla Server is an application that will allow to install on our PC a complete FTP server with support for SSL/TLS, real-time encryption (for greater file security), file compression (to get a better download speed), and the creation and management of user groups.

  The program allows us to change the listening port (that per default is number 21), limit each users access separately, adjust the download speed and even assign download capacity quotas.
